My Story

“Hello, my name is Desta Leigh Silva. I was born and raised in Southern California and now live in a small mountain town in Idaho. I am a wife, real estate investor and mom of 3 boys just trying to keep my sparkle by turning authentic designer scarves, towels, and jewelry into stylish accessories. Each piece is unique and will spice up any outfit. Sure to be a conversation starter.

WanderLux by Desta is inspired by luxury and travel. I have explored many countries around the world. Big cities, quaint countrysides, and everything in between. I gather inspiration from the landscape, the people, the culture, the history, and the architecture. I also explore antique stores to discover gems that were created many generations ago and have stood the test of time. To hold a pristine silk scarf or a piece of jewelry that is anywhere from 40-100 years old is magical. While I do purchase brand new designer items, I also purchase antique, and vintage breathe new life into them.”
